But it's supposed to be BROWN
While painting a basic headshot for a friend's character, I found the skin tone and overall look to be miserably bland. In a fit of art-rage, I started using purple and green and yellow and suddenly...I realized I CAN DO THAT. It's okay. It really is. Next time I'm pushing it even further, just watch me.

Mural Madness!
A few weeks ago I was approached with the possibility of doing a mural for an up-and-coming preschool with lots to offer, and after speaking with the school's principal we agreed that an "It's a Small World" homage displaying good behavior characteristics would be fab! Hatter and Reds!
I know I just posted yesterday, but like I said, business is booming! This one has some personal significance to me, simply because I adore anything and everything Lewis Carrol, so getting commissioned to do something of this sort simply tickles my fancy!

Monica the Dancer
Business is booming at The Art of Sarah Banning, mostly thanks to my Dad's awesome connections and undying faith in me! This last week I was commissioned by Monica Smith to create a character based on her as a small child, for kids in the audience to color in while they enjoy her performances!
